A wavy pot with an abstract grid design made from a Japanese style Shigaraki clay body, coiled piece, handmade, high fired in a gas kiln, with various clay slips and stains. 

About Justin Hoffman
Hoffman is a Bay Area ceramic artist and painter whose work constantly shifts between sculpture, vessel, and three-dimensional objects, and is heavily influenced by the ceramic artists in Japan. Each piece is made by hand and each form is created in the moment. He has studied wood-firing in Japan under two master potters and participated in a Noborigama firing in Seto, Japan.
