1962 Denmark – Holmgaard’s Large Glass Bowl by Per Lütken

This Classic Danish Holmegaard glass bowl in three-lobed organic shape was designed by principal designer Per Lütken for Holmegaard. The bowl is in very good condition with only few and minor scratches.

Whilst working at Holmegaard, Per Lütken adopted his predecessor, Jacob Bang’s modern shapes.  In the 1950s he implemented considerable improvements in manufacturing and aesthetics at Holmgaard inspired by the Trienalle di Milano. Per Lütken used heated metal to sculpt and create his fluid glass forms
